• Any citizen of India is eligible to apply for the post of general duty medical officer in FCI in this recruitment drive
• The applicant should have completed MBBS from any recognised University in the country
• The applicant should retired from Central/ state or PSU
• There is no minimum age requirement individuals can apply Till the age of 68 which is the maximum age in this recruitment drive.
• Apart from this Doctors who have worked in FCI/CGHS shall be preferred.

Job details of FCI 2024 Recruitment

• Contract Duration: Initial contractual engagement is for two years from the date of joining.
• The contract can be extended for one year based on mutual consent, subject to the same terms and conditions.
• The engagement will not continue beyond the doctor’s 70th birthday.
• Preference for Candidates:
• Preference will be given to doctors who have prior experience working with FCI (Food Corporation of India) or CGHS (Central Government Health Scheme).
• Non-practicing allowance is not applicable.
• Private practice in any form is prohibited during the contract.
• The working hours will be the same as those applicable to regular employees at the place of posting or engagement.
• Leave Policy: The doctor is entitled to 12 days of leave per calendar year. Leave cannot be accumulated or encashed.
• Termination of Contract: The contract can be terminated by either party at any time, without the need to provide a reason.
• A notice period of one month or one month’s remuneration must be provided before termination.

Salary in FCI Vacancy 2024 

The authority will provide a fixed salary of 80000 per month to The Eligible applicant who get success in this FCI Recruitment 2024 procedure. Apart from this applicant will not get DA TA from the department and other allowances accordingly. As it is the contract job in the department, so employee will also not get other benefits which are providing permanent employees such as seniority level, Medical treatment allowance, PF, Benefits of pension and gratuity after retirement etc.
