Carole Baskin Claims “Dead” Husband is Alive in Resurfaced Interview

In November in the year 2021, the star of Tiger King, Carole Baskin told during an interview on ITV that according to Homeland Security her husband, Don Lewis who went missing was found alive. Though no clear shreds of evidence have been found to confirm her claims since the interview has been aired.

The interview has resurfaced on the internet and it is now viral all over social media platforms. In the interview, Carole Baskin was saying that her husband was alive in Costa Rica. No official has yet confirmed that Don Lewis is alive since the interview took place. She claimed that her husband Don Lewis was alive and doing well in Costa Rica though he was declared legally dead after 5 years of missing in 2002.

Who is Carole Baskin?

Baskin became popular after the release of Netflix’s true crime series named Tiger King in 2020. The show included the community of conservationists of Big Cats in the US. This group also included Baskin who was the Big Cat Rescue’s owner. This show was loved by the viewers and due to its success 2nd and 3rd seasons were also aired.

The first season was about the exotic life of the owners of The Greater Wynnewood Exotic Animal Park in Oklahoma and the estrangement with Carole who used to accuse Lewis of abusing his animals. The series revealed that several murder attempts were made on Carole through paid hitmen.

After the missing of Don Lewis, Carole was considered the main suspect during the investigation. Some even alleged Carole of feeding the remains of Lewis to her tigers. Lewis who disappeared was 59 years old and disappeared in 1997. Baskin still insists that he is alive and doing fine in Costa Rica according to the government of the US.
