RRB Group C and D Recruitment 2024 Eligibility
Level 1: Candidates must have obtained a National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) from the National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT), or have successfully completed the 10th grade or an equivalent examination, including an Industrial Training Institute (ITI) qualification or its equivalent.
Level 2 or Level 3: Applicants should have completed the 10+2 stage of education, which corresponds to the 12th grade or an equivalent examination. The educational qualifications must be conferred by a government-recognized board, council, or institution. Alternatively, candidates may qualify by passing the matriculation examination from a recognized board, completing an Act Apprenticeship, or finishing the 10th grade from a government-recognized board, council, or institution.
Level 4 or Level 5: Individuals must have successfully graduated or completed an equivalent examination in any discipline from a university or institution that is recognized by the government.
In summary, for Level 4 or Level 5, candidates should have passed graduation or its equivalent in any field from a government-recognized university or institution. For Level 2 or Level 3, candidates must have completed the 12th grade (10+2) or an equivalent examination from a government-recognized board, council, or institution, or have passed the matriculation examination along with an Act Apprenticeship, or completed the 10th grade from a recognized board. For Level 1, candidates should have passed the 10th grade or its equivalent, completed an ITI program, or obtained a National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) from the NCVT.

RRB Group C and D Vacancy Details
The existing job openings are classified into three distinct categories. Group ‘C’ comprises a total of 21 positions, which are further subdivided into Level-4/Level-5 (5 positions) and Level-2/Level-3 (16 positions). Furthermore, Group ‘D’ contains 39 vacancies at Level-1, in accordance with the guidelines established by the 7th Central Pay Commission (7th CPC).

Selection Procedure
The selection procedure comprises three key elements:
1. Recognized Sports Achievements: Candidates will be evaluated based on established criteria, which will account for 50 marks.
2. Trials: This component involves the assessment of game skills, physical fitness, and the coach’s observations during the trials, contributing 40 marks to the overall score.
3. Educational Qualification: Academic credentials will be taken into account, contributing 10 marks.

How much is the application fees?
The application fee is set at ₹500 for all applicants. However, the SC, ST, Women, Minorities and Economically Backward Classes categories are required to pay a reduced application fee of ₹250. Payment of the fee must be conducted online via Internet Banking or through Debit or Credit Cards.

(ii) For Athletics (W): In the realm of Athletics, performances that result in medals at the National Inter State Senior Athletics Championships may be considered for recruitment at levels 2/3 (GP Rs. 1900/- or Rs. 2000/-). Additionally, gold medalists in Open National Championships (Senior), Inter State Athletics Championships (Senior), and Asian Championships (Senior) may be eligible for recruitment at levels 5/4 (GP Rs. 2800/- or Rs. 2400/-).
(iii) For Gymnastics (M): Events organized by the Gymnastics Federation of India, under the leadership of Shri Sudhir Mittal since 26/02/2021, will be taken into account. Certificates from the Association of Indian Universities and recognized International Federations for sports achievements will also be accepted.
(iv) For Hockey (M): (a) Hockey India is the officially recognized National Sports Federation, and only certificates issued by Hockey India will be considered for recruitment for positions with Grade Pay of 1,900 or 2,000 within the Pay Band of 5,200-20,200; (b) Participation in international tournaments involving four or more nations may also be recognized; (c) Achieving semi-finalist status in Senior National competitions will be considered.
